Ingredients:
-
2 sockeye salmon fillets or coho salmon
-
2 tbsp honey
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
-
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper on both sides
-
In a small bowl, make the glaze. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until the mixture is smooth and well combined
-
Cook the salmon on a non-stick skillet over medium heat skin-side down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through, or to your desired doneness.
-
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon fillets in the skillet. Allow the glaze to simmer and thicken, spooning it over the fish as it cooks for another 2-3 minutes.
-
Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side dish, whether rice, veggies, or a simple salad.
